Save the Children Job Circular 2020
This position is mainly responsible for overall operations and implementation of the project, this include, s/he will be responsible for planning, and supporting the team including partner organizations. S/he will maintain liaison with partner NGOs and government officials at central, district and local levels, also engage in capacity development of the facilitators, school teachers, govt. officials and partner staffs on using tablets, e-monitoring, virtual platforms and e-contents. S/he will ensure preparation and translation of key documents, e.g. project operation manuals, project brochures, program folders and provide support in setting up monitoring system and visit field areas regularly and capture learning. The incumbent will be responsible for assuring quality implementation in different areas of community mobilization, primary education and monitoring. S/he will also responsible for managing and overseeing budget, procurement and reporting.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in education related project, including 2 years in managerial position.
- Advanced knowledge about primary education system in Bangladesh
- Comprehensive knowledge and expertise on primary education curriculum, ICT interventions, virtual education platforms, ICT in education and capacity development.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, working with partners, CSOs and government offices will be an advantage.
- Good English communication and report writing skills
- Good planning and coordinating skills
- Computer operating skills in MS Office and Internet using
- Master degree, preferably in ICT in Education/Education/Social Science/Development Studies and other relevant subjects.
Contract length: Up to December 31, 2021
